As a home owner I experienced the chaos caused when a home is flooded; the water
damage affected every wall of the first floor of our home including the living room,
dining room, kitchen, closet, bathroom and the pantry and laundry room. Every wall
needed to be opened and the insulation and damaged drywall were removed.
The most encouraging experience we have had since the flood is in hiring Thor
McAndrew Construction to do the drywall repair in our home. Thor and his sons are
truly craftsmen among a bunch of posers. They know their trade, do excellent work
in a clean sanding-free environment and for the first time in two months we have the
sense we are truly on the road to having our home repaired.
Thor came out and quoted a fair price; worked around my schedule to accommodate
other work going on and then showed up when he said they would. To have Thor
and his sons show up each morning at 8:00am ready and fully able to work the full
day was refreshing. They brought to the worksite all that was needed the first time,
worked in a proficient manner and treated my home as if they were working on their
own in that the did the job right the first time!
I would recommend Thor McAndrew without reservation to any home owner or
business owner that needs their faith restored in humanity not to mention their
drywall repaired. In this day and age it is rare to find craftsmen with a true work ethic
that are honest; say what they mean and do what they say while being on time and at
a fair price. If you want the job done right Thor’s the man!
